This is a live virtual presentation via TEAMS to present nursing topics that are relevant to nurses in their practice. July nursing grand rounds will focus on psychological effects of COVID-19 on the frontline nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic and how to cope with these stressors. October nursing grand rounds will focus on difficult conversations with families, with strategies to improve communication with the interdisciplinary team and families.

Desired Measurable Outcome:

July: Using a Likert scale, after participating in this event, learners will have an increased knowledge in the psychological effects of COVID-19 on the frontline nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic and how to cope with these stressors.

October: Using a Likert scale, after participating in this presentation of difficult conversations with families, the participant should be able to identify strategies to improve communication with the interdisciplinary team and families.
