Overview:

ACH Transport Team Lectures are provided by a content expert on the topic including diagnosis and treatment in the transport environment. The live lecture (containing a PowerPoint) is 90 minutes in length and reviews pediatric and neonatal disease processes as well as the assessment and management of these states.   

Objectives:

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Describe early and late warning signs of neonatal sepsis
  • Identify Early onset sepsis
  • Identify late onset sepsis
  • Describe appropriate interventions to treat a patient on transport with neonatal sepsis
