Overall Objectives: 

  1. Review cases and discuss new treatments, advances in research, and new updated clinical guidelines.
  2. Recognize possible complications that may be associated with cardiovascular procedures.
  3. Discuss possible ways to prevent complications from happening in the future or address them appropriately when they occur.
  4. When applicable, develop best-practice guidelines and protocols for use in the cardiovascular department.

Target Audience:  Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac and Cath lab nurses and other allied health staff that work with cardiovascular patients.
