Overall Objectives:

  1. Identify unusual presentation of common conditions or presentation of rare conditions
  2. Describe step by step work-up to manage patients with challenging medical problems, learn the appropriate use of emerging technologies and biomarkers, with assessment of pitfalls in diagnostic workup and review of management approaches, use of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities that could improve patient outcomes in similar conditions.
  3. Recognize multiple aspects of specific conditions and management options to select the most cost-effective way to improve individual patient outcome.
