Airway Wars: Etomidate vs Ketamine for Rapid Sequence Intubation
Currently there are some practice differences in the use of etomidate and ketamine for rapid sequence intubation given the recent literature that has been published on this topic. The goal of this presentation is to discuss these nuances and assess recent literature on the use of etomidate and ketamine in rapid sequence intubation, followed by identifying which clinical scenarios might be optimal for each induction agent.
