This lecture covers the topic of duty to care and duty to plan and their implication and relevant conflicts.

This course is intended for Primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, Primary care PA's, APN's and other interested professionals

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Review the origins of the duty to care among U.S. medical professionals.
  2. Discuss legitimate concerns that conflict with the duty to care.
  3. Identify resolving conflicts on the basis of reciprocity and support from those with a duty to plan.
