EBP Journal Club: Uniform Laundering
The purpose of the journal club is to engage nurses in learning about evidence-based practices and integrate those best practices into their clinical practice. The implementation of evidence-based practices will lead to improved patient outcomes. The Covid-19 pandemic raised concerns regarding laundering of healthcare workers uniforms. There is an infection control risk to patients, coworkers, families and community members if uniforms are not properly laundered.
