Family Therapy in the Hospital Setting--Recorded Segment

This presentation will provide information to equip providers and practitioners to better understand providing therapy in the hospital setting to ultimately benefit the patient. 

Target Audience

This course is intended for psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other allied health professionals who deal with mental health issues and addiction medicine.

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Compare and contrast different family therapy models and adaptability to hospital settings
  2. Identify strategies to encourage patient engagement in family therapy activities
  3. Analyzing the difference between family engagement and family therapy
