Immunomodulatory Therapy for COVID-19

During this presentation, the ASLMC pharmacy team will discuss immunomodulatory therapy in COVID-19 and will present real patient cases to demonstrate effects of various immunomodulatory agents.

Target Audience

This course is intended for pharmacists as well as critical care physicians and APCs who are treating COVID-19 patients.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Recognize the pathophysiology of clinical presentation of COVID-19 
  2. Analyze current literature for immunomodulatory therapy in COVID-19
  3. Compare and contrast immunomodulatory agents for COVID-19 
  4. Recommend an appropriate pharmacologic treatment plan for COVID-19
