Introduction to Mindfulness

Mindfulness practices can improve focus, attention, and compassion, increase coping skills and impact our ability to manage stress. This experiential and interactive session introduces the evidence-based practices of Mindfulness and the Mind-Body Connection. Includes common work/life challenges, the stress response, tips to sustain self-care while providing patient care, formal and informal ways of incorporating mindfulness into a busy life and integrating the concept of “being while doing.”
