SUD Treatment in Gen Z Adolescents

January 11, 2023

This program will explore the unique treatment needs of the generation Z adolescent substance user. Too often, adolescent substance use consists of applying adult substance use disorder treatment to teens. Unfortunately, this approach fails to recognize the unique development and cultural needs of the Generation Z adolescent. This program will exam treatment issues in treating teens who struggle with substance use. We will identify adolescent specific approaches to help reduce the negative impact of substances and improve the teens coping response to mental health struggles.

This conference is being held virtually.

Programs will be recorded and posted online for ongoing viewing. Please turn your camera/video off if you do not want your image shared within the recorded video. If you have any concerns, please contact the CME Office at cme@aah.org.
