Overall Objectives:
- Identify ECG patterns of common electrical disorders of the heart or presentation of rare conditions
- Describe step by step approach to analyze a normal ECG pattern and identify abnormalities that can predispose to life-threatening situation such as syncope or cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, stroke, or adverse effects of medicine.
- Learn the assessment of ECG and potential limits and pitfalls in diagnostic workup and management decisions that could improve patient outcomes in similar conditions
- Recognize multiple aspects of specific conditions and management options to select for cost-effective way to improve individual patient outcome
