This weekly conference consists of a brief didactic presentation on a topic of interest in dementia care including diagnosis, treatment, neuropsychiatric symptoms, and psychosocial aspects of care. It is followed by a case-based discussion that allows participants to identify challenges and make suggestions regarding the care of a patient with dementia.
At the completion of the activity, the participant should be able to identify current practices in the diagnosis, treatment and management of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and apply in clinical practice.
