EMT-Basic thru Paramedic -Medication Calculations

New medications have been added. Understanding dosing and drip rates is vitally important to make sure that the appropriate dose of medication is given to the patient for the proper effect. Practicing this math will aid in become more proficient in this process. 

Target Audience

This course is intended for those licensed at the EMR level through Paramedic. This course satisfies the requirements for the State of Wisconsin EMT Flexible Refresher Renewal.

At the end of this session, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the method to calculate the appropriate dose of medication for each patient from pediatric to adult
