Overview:

This article provides an approach to encourage the utilization of a multidisciplinary simulation to improve clinical performance as well as clinical outcomes in obstetrical emergencies.

Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Critically evaluate current literature in simulation in both academic and clinical health care settings. 
  2. Identify evidenced-based simulation practices in current literature to apply in personal practice settings.
