Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity the participants should be able to:
- Identify the risk factors for COVID-19 in people with Down syndrome and the presenting symptoms of
- COVID-19.
- Locate and summarize the health care guidelines published in 2020.
- Identify several differences in health promotion, symptom presentation, and management of illness
- in people with Down syndrome.
