Overview:
A forum to provide education on Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine therapies, treatment, and research will help to ensure our practitioners and caregivers maintain and improve their knowledge and skills. During these lectures, a variety of Hyperbaric and Wound Care topics along with multidisciplinary presentations from providers involved in wound care patients will be presented and discussed. This will ensure attendees will be educated on new and updated procedures and surgical techniques.

Overall Objectives:

  1.  Identify optimal patient care initiatives based on Hyperbaric Medicine Guidelines.
  2. Improve the knowledge base of the Hyperbaric and Wound Care team by analyzing new research in the field of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine treatments.
  3. Demonstrate improved competency in the identification and care of the Hyperbaric therapy and Wound Care patient.
  4. Translate medical knowledge to optimal patient care at the bedside.

Target Audience:  This activity is designed for Hyperbaric Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, RNs, residents and fellows.
