Topic: The Human Element of Data Privacy

This lecture will describe the use of universal testing of all colorectal and endometrial tumors for the identification of Lynch syndrome.  The role of MSI (microsatellite instability) by PCR (polymerase chain reaction) and immunohistochemistry will be discussed.  The results of tumor testing and the implications for patients' medical management will be reviewed.
