The Office of Clinical Trials Research Education Series consists of 5 - 6 programs beginning June 2022 through December 2022. The title of the first program on 6/16/202 from 2PM - 3PM is 'Overview of Research Authorization & Protocol Review (RAPR). Each program in the series will be 1 hour in length. Dates, times, and topics for remaining programs in the series are to be determined. A variety of learning strategies will be used for this research education series and the strategies used will depend on the topic and the preferences of the speaker but may include slides, case studies, polling, and others. At the end of each session, learners should be able to:
•    Identify strategies for the efficient and compliant conduct of research
•    Describe regulations, good clinical practice, and policies in place to protect the rights, safety, and welfare of subjects and the collection and reporting of quality data

Measured Outcomes:

At the end of the presentation, using a Likert scale, attendees will have an increase in knowledge of the RAPR process. ​

This activity is designed for RNs, Research Coordinators, Research Regulatory Specialists, Research Associates, and other members of the Advocate Aurora Research Institute (AARI).
