Long-COVID: Nothing (A)cute About It
This program will provide an overview of the management of patients with long COVID, in both the acute and chronic phases. Long COVID's effects on each organ system will be described and pharmaceutical interventions will be outlined. Lastly, concerning trends in antibiotic resistance that have emerged during the COVID pandemic will be analyzed.

Learning Objectives
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to
- Evaluate patients with acute COVID, including factors that may increase their risk of progression to long COVID
- Recognize the detrimental effects that long-COVID can have on multiple organ systems
- Develop a treatment plan for patients that have various long-COVID disease states
- Analyze concerning trends in antibiotic resistance that have emerged during the COVID pandemic
