Shared Governance & Meeting Facilitation Workshop
This is a 1.5 hour workshop on shared governance, effective meeting facilitation, and performance improvement. The workshop topics will include key components of shared governance, and an example of a shared governance model and toolkit. The workshop will also cover meeting facilitation tools and strategies including team effectiveness, group dynamics, idea generating tools and evaluation tools. Teaching methods will include virtual presentation, power point, discussion, and small group exercises.
Desired learning outcome
Using a Likert scale, after participating in this event, learners will have an increased knowledge in defining key components of Shared Governance and applying the discussed strategies, tools, and models for effective meeting facilitation and performance improvement projects.
