Advocate Aurora Health System Nursing Shared Governance Nursing Forum: Workplace Violence: Addressing Violence and Incivility Through the Eyes of Nursing Recording
Incivility and violence in health care is a national concern. In the recording of the Nursing Forum we will review our AAH violence prevention and response program, examine evidence around trauma-informed care and its relevance to nursing, and discuss individual and organizational approaches to addressing personal impacts of violence. Content and panel discussion will be framed by questions and suggestions submitted in advance by registrants.

Desired learning outcome
Using a Likert scale, after participating in this event, the learners will have an increased knowledge the AAH violence prevention and response program, trauma-informed care principles, and practical tips for personal and professional options when violence occurs.
