This conference will review the latest new therapies and information presented at the annual American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting, highlighting novel approaches to treating patients with cancer. This program will inform healthcare professionals on the most novel treatments and drug indications and allow them to apply that learning in daily practice. Rapidly changing advances in oncology create the need for this continuing education course. The ASCO meeting is the world’s largest oncology meeting and is thus the meeting with the most important and practice changing abstracts, studies, and review lectures. However, because of its enormity, it is impossible for one individual to get around to all of the important lectures, scientific symposia, etc. Having a regional review course will ensure that physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners, nurses and pharmacists in the greater Milwaukee and Wisconsin areas will be able to hear a summary of the most important and practice-changing studies, lectures, and learnings from the ASCO meeting.
Target Audience
This program is designed for physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical staff and pharmacists in Wisconsin and neighboring states wanting to learn about the latest updates in cancer treatment.
