Mindfulness, Meditation, & Mental Makeovers: How Narrative Medicine Can Help You Survive & Thrive During the Pandemic, PART 2 0F 4: THE NARRATIVE MEDICINE APPROACH; THE SCIENCE OF EXPRESSIVE WRITING AND 3 MINUTE MENTAL MAKEOVER Recorded Session

This is the second recording of a four-part series which addresses coping skills and a narrative medicine approach to combat stress and physician burnout.

This second recording covers the coping strategy and health benefits of expressive writing. Expressive writing applied to clinical practice offers a narrative medicine approach and this recording discusses a specific writing exercise developed in 2016 by Dr. David Thoele named the “3 Minute Mental Makeover (3MMM)”. Dr. Thoele reviews its potential outcomes when implemented in practice.
