14th Annual Prevention to Cure Symposium

February 10, 2021

This program will present novel heart disease prevention strategies, updated monitoring and treatment options for patients with heart disease, and current heart disease research trial topics and findings. Current perspectives on the pathophysiology of COVID-19 will be explored during this educational offering. The knowledge provided in this program will enrich physician’s practice by allowing them to consider newly available clinical advances and proven guideline directed therapies while caring for their patients with heart disease.

This conference is being held virtually.

Target Audience

This course is intended for all  physicians including cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, invasive cardiologists, internists, family medicine, residents and other health care professionals involved in the care of cardiac patients.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Identify manifestations of COVID-19 and the potential cardiovascular ramifications
  2. Recognize the systemic nature of Atrial Fibrillation and apply appropriate treatment options
  3. Evaluate evidence-based interventions for the treatment of stable coronary artery disease
  4. Recognize current and future options for structural heart interventions
  5. Examine lipid management for patients with heart disease using current research trials
