15th Annual Prevention to Cure Symposium 2022

Health care providers need ongoing education to ensure that they are utilizing the latest guidelines for diagnosis, management and treatment of their patients living with heart disease. The guidelines for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease are continually evolving. Exposing physicians to new medical knowledge is an integral part of improving medical practice.

Target Audience

This course is intended for all physicians including internal medicine physicians, cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, invasive cardiologist’s registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and health care professionals involved in the care of cardiovascular patients.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity the participants should be able to:

  • Identify appropriate cardiovascular treatment for patients with chronic kidney disease
  • Recognize unique manifestations and treatment approach for women with heart disease
  • Choose appropriate imagery for diagnosis of heart disease
  • Describe how to identify potential percutaneous mitral and tricuspid therapies
  • Interpret ischemic heart failure treatment based on guidelines and patient profiles
