This conference is to educate pediatric primary care providers and specialists on the management and treatment of pediatric obesity, to get an in-depth look at the various comorbidities these children are at risk for, and what can be done as medical professionals to prevent these various diseases.

Target Audience
This conference is attended for Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Nurses, APN’s, Medical Students, Residents, Fellows, and PA
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Diagnose and manage the various comorbidities associated with pediatric obesity and assess indications of when a subspecialty referral is appropriate
- Incorporate the multidisciplinary approach required to fully treat this patient population
- Utilize all the resources available to treat these patients and incorporate these resources into their daily practice
