Over the calendar year 2023, six articles will be available which look at different medications and the effects on the neonate. This educational opportunity is self-driven. Continuing education hours will be awarded upon completion and successful passing of the associated quiz. Please note that articles and quizzes will be accessible through external software.

Target Audience

This course is intended for registered nurses and advance practice nurses who care for the critically ill neonate.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. Describe the relevance of the articles to clinical practice as it applies to the neonatal population.
  2. Analyze and interpret current research and evidence-based practice and identify one lesson learned to implement into practice.
