Lung Health Conference 2020

This webinar is to assist Primary Care Physicians (PCP) to feel comfortable in discussing the effects of Vaping/e-cigarettes with patients and educating them on the resources to quit. Also, the webinar will discuss options for utilizing the annual lung cancer screening CT which is available to former or current smokers who qualify.

This course is intended for Primary Care Physicians, Pulmonologists, and Dentists and Nurses.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  • Describe rationale for dangers of Vaping and why smoking cessation is important
  • Explain the rationale behind radiologist recommendations for low dose lung cancer screenings.
  • Discuss the importance of lung screening navigation to patient recommendation adherence
  • Explain why EBUS would be a preferred choice for lung biopsy
