Objectives:  At the conclusion of this activity the participants should be able to:

  • To be able to identify when puberty is starting too early or too late and the initial steps in evaluation of these abnormalities
  • In patients with precocious development, identify who will need puberty suppression versus who can be managed conservatively with observation
  • To be able to have a basic understanding of the pathway for puberty induction in patients with delayed development
