Geriatrics for Advanced Practice 3.0
Geriatrics for Advanced Practice is a unique educational activity that is intended to enhance the knowledge and ability of advanced practice providers to be able to contribute to the health of a population and provide optimal evidence-based care for the high-risk population of older adults.
Target Audience
This course is intended for MDs/DOs, PAs/NPs, PharmD and RNs.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, learners should be able to:
- Review nuances of prescribing medications and safe medication management to older adults.
- Review interdisciplinary team approaches and interventions to better address older adults with complex conditions and those with behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
- Review practical tips for the coordination of care of vulnerable older adults.
