Program Overview:

This is a live virtual presentation via TEAMS to present nursing topics that are relevant to nurses in their pediatric hematology/oncology practice. Nurses need to increase their knowledge and confidence of current trends and evidence base practice related to pediatric sickle cell care.

Overall Objectives:

At the end of this session, learners should be able to:

  1. have an understanding of the Pediatric Cardio Oncology Program at Advocate Children’s Hospital and identify specific risk stratification and screenings of patients during and after their cancer therapy into survivorship.
