Overview

Research indicates that health care workers experience higher degrees of burnout than the general population. This session will focus on the job-related factors associated with the professional well-being of nurses working the Emergency Department.

Objectives: Participants will be able to:

  1.         Define professional well-being in its ideal and negative states
  2.         Discuss the study methodology and key findings
  3.         Identify 1-2 specific implications to apply to their practice.
