Course is REQUIRED annually for all APP members.
Learning Objectives
After completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the importance of ethical business conduct in terms of laws, Advocate policies, and your own liability
- Assist in the prevention and detection of fraud, waste, and abuse
- Report fraud, waste, abuse and other instances of noncompliance through appropriate channels
- State the requirements and laws governing patient privacy
- Take measures to protect patient privacy
- Take recommended steps to improve your cultural competence
