Target Audience

Course is REQUIRED annually for all APP members. 

Learning Objectives

After completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the importance of ethical business conduct in terms of laws, Advocate policies, and your own liability
  • Assist in the prevention and detection of fraud, waste, and abuse
  • Report fraud, waste, abuse and other instances of noncompliance through appropriate channels 
  • State the requirements and laws governing patient privacy
  • Take measures to protect patient privacy
  • Take recommended steps to improve your cultural competence
