EMS Lecture Series: ALS Pharmacology

  • Review and discuss common medications used by paramedic providers in the Aurora Southern Lakes EMS System
  • Discuss optimal medication and method of medication administration for patients with a particular clinical condition or situation.
  • Review doses and routes of administration of medications used by paramedic providers in the prehospital setting
  • Discuss steps to reduce the incidence of medication errors and limit the severity of harmful effects associated with medication administration.
